Hello Rose

I think this might just be a record for me! Two posts in one week. Hopefully I can post more later this week as well.

This card is pretty simple to make. I did discover that I really need to write down what supplies I use for each card because by the time I come in the house I have totally forgotten the manufacturer of each item. I do know I bought Hello and the Rose stamps I bought at a stamp convention a few years ago. The punch I used on the bottom of the brown paper is by Martha Stewart.

Purple Butterflies Thank You

This morning I needed to make two thank you cards for two sweet families. One is for my sister and her family for giving our daughter (due in June) a wonderful onesie! I collect Eiffel Towers and how perfect is this:

The other card is for my brother and his family because they gave us:

I didn’t even tell them that her ‘theme’ is going to be Butterflies and Lambs!

I can’t wait to see her in these outfits!

Each of these cards was made out of scraps and the same Thank You stamp by Stampin Up. Needless to say it took me less than 10 minutes to finish them.

The Orange Butterfly

 

Afternoon friends! Here is something I create for a birthday girl I know.

I stamped the butterfly with black Memento ink and colored it with an orange Copic marker. After I cut it out I die cut several of these branches. The DP is leftover from my Halloween cards and the orange matched beautifully with the butterfly. After I glued down the branches and the middle of the butterfly I add orange stickles to give the butterfly that extra bit of sparkle.

A Camo Happy Birthday

I am sitting here at my desk listening to one of my neighbors shooting his gun. So I though this would be a goodtime to post a card I made for one of my teenage sons. Very simple because they don’t like their cards flashy. This was an easy card to make and just perfect for the birthday boy!

It is a windy day out here but thank goodness I am inside! This is a card I made for one of my Sis-in-laws for her birthday. I used a Stampin Up stamp and some DP I came across. Added a little bit of sparkle and that is it!

A Yellow Happy Anniversary

I am back and wow do I have a lot of cards to share with you all. I have been busy making cards but I always seem to for get to post them. So here is the first one of the new year!!

The tulip stamp is one I came across the other day. I don’t know who the manufacture of it is. I think I may have purchased it at one of those stamp conventions a few years ago. I used my Copics to color it and then I cut it out by hand. The yellow paper is a scrap I was about to put up when I realized it matched my tulips perfectly!

Bountiful Blessings Card

So I ended up needing a few more Thanksgiving cards this year. While I was playing around with a few ideas I came across this lovely designer paper. I cut it to fit the card, stamped the verse and added a little stickles to add a bit of sparkle to it.

I distressed the edges and that was it. Another quick and easy card! I hope you enjoyed these Thanksgiving cards and hopefully they gave you some ideas on how to make your own quick and easy cards.
